Information We Collect

Paratissimus collects minimal data to provide our service. When you create an account, we store your username and password (securely hashed) on our servers. Your learning progress, XP, marches, and settings are stored locally on your device. We also store legion rankings data (username, XP, march, lessons completed) on our servers to enable the community rankings feature.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide and improve the Paratissimus learning experience. This includes authenticating your account, syncing your progress across devices, powering the legion rankings, and processing any feedback you submit. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Data Storage

Most of your learning data (progress, settings, marches, honors) is stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage. Server-side data (account credentials, legion rankings entries, and feedback submissions) is stored in a secured PostgreSQL database.

Third-Party Services

Paratissimus uses Expo for app delivery and push notifications. We do not integrate with advertising networks or third-party analytics services that track your behavior. Push notifications, if enabled, are used only for march reminders and daily orders notifications.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your account from Settings, which will permanently remove all your data from our servers. You can also reset your local progress using the “Start Over” option in Settings.

Children’s Privacy

Paratissimus is designed for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the app and on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
